The present invention provides a nucleic acid molecule encoding a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) directed against STEAP1, wherein said CAR comprises an antigen-binding domain comprising a VH region and a VL region, each comprising three CDR sequences, wherein: a) CDRs 1, 2 and 3 of the VH region have the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 14, 15 and 16 respectively; and b) CDRs 1, 2 and 3 of the VL region have the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 17, 18 and 19 respectively; and wherein one or more of said CDR sequences may optionally be modified by substitution, addition and/or deletion of 1 to 3 amino acids. A vector and an immune effector cell comprising the nucleic acid molecule of the invention, a composition, and a CAR are also provided herein.
