Abstract
An aluminum nitride powder, in which a cumulative volume 50% particle diameter (D50) in a particle size distribution measured with a laser diffraction scattering-type particle size distribution meter is 0.3 to 1.0 μm, a proportion of particles of 0.20 μm or less is 10% or less in volume frequency, a ratio of the D50 to an average primary particle diameter (Dp: μm) of 500 particles observed with a scanning electron microscope at a magnification of 20,000 times, D50/Dp, is 1.0 to 1.4, and an average circularity is 0.7 or more.

An aluminum nitride powder, wherein
- a cumulative volume 50% particle diameter (D50) in a particle size distribution measured with a laser diffraction scattering-type particle size distribution meter is 0.3 to 1.0 μm,
- a proportion of particles of 0.20 μm or less is 10% or less in volume frequency,
- a ratio of the D50 to an average primary particle diameter (Dp:
