Claims20
A child transporter comprising
- a mobile cart including a frame, a plurality of wheels coupled to the frame to support the frame for movement across ground, and a front seat mount coupled to a front end of the frame, the frame including a handlebar configured to be gripped by a caregiver to push the mobile cart over the ground, a front frame section coupled to the handlebar and a pair of front wheels included in the plurality of wheels, and a rear frame section coupled to the front frame section and a pair of rear wheels included in the plurality of wheels,
- a first juvenile seat configured to hold a child for transportation, and
- a seat-mode controller coupled to the rear frame section and configured to mount the juvenile seat to the frame for pivotable movement relative to the rear frame section about a controller pivot axis to change the child transporter from a single-function mode, in which the first juvenile seat is positioned a first distance from a front end of the frame, to a dual-function mode, in which the first juvenile seat is positioned a second distance, greater than the first distance, from the front end of the frame so that a second juvenile seat can be attached to the front seat mount for transportation with the first juvenile seat on the mobile cart.
