Fuel cell flexible power conversion module

A system, comprising:

• a power conversion unit configured to couple with a frame of a vehicle;
• and
• the power conversion unit including:
• a first slot configured to guide a first converter module into alignment with a first interface to couple the first converter module with the power conversion unit;
• a second slot configured to guide a second converter module into alignment with a second interface to couple the second converter module with the power conversion unit;
• and
• wherein the first converter module is configured to establish a first bi-directional flow of electrical power between a voltage bus of the power conversion unit and a first power source;
• wherein the second converter module is configured to electrically couple with a second power source and establish a second bi-directional flow of electrical power between the voltage bus of the power conversion unit and the second power source.

A power conversion unit, comprising:

• a first slot configured to guide a first converter module into alignment with a first interface to couple the first converter module with the power conversion unit;
• a second slot configured to guide a second converter module into alignment with a second interface to couple the second converter module with the power conversion unit;
• and
• wherein the first converter module is configured to establish a first bi-directional flow of electrical power between a voltage bus of the power conversion unit and a first power source;
• wherein the second converter module is configured to electrically couple with a second power source and establish a second bi-directional flow of electrical power between the voltage bus of the power conversion unit and the second power source.
