Abstract

An image recording apparatus includes: a head unit including a head; a supply tube having an end connected to the head, and configured to supply a recording material to the head; and a moving mechanism configured to move the head unit. The head unit has a joint member connected to the supply tube. The moving mechanism has a plurality of pulleys, a belt wound around the plurality of pulleys, and a belt-retained part configured to be retained with respect to the belt. The head unit is detachable from and attachable to the belt-retained part, and is connected to the belt via the belt-retained part in a state where the head unit is attached to the belt-retained part.

A liquid container comprising:

a storage part including:
a storage chamber configured to store liquid;
and
a communication part communicating with the storage chamber;
and
a connection component configured to be detachably connected to the communication part, the connection component including:
a connection part connected to the communication part;
an atmosphere-open part configured to communicate with outside;
a first communication channel via which the atmosphere-open part communicates with the connection part;
and
a gas-liquid separation film which is disposed in the first communication channel, and which is impermeable to the liquid and permeable to air.
