Laminated timber beam production system

A laminated timber beam production system for producing curved laminated timber beams, comprising:

• (a) a laminated beam intake for receiving a timber bundle composed of glued timber slats, and
• (b) a plurality of clamping slides, each clamping slide of the plurality of clamping slides comprising
• (i) one or more positioning slides, each of which comprises at least one first pressure shoe which is guidable on a linear guide,
• (ii) one or more feed slides, each of which comprises at least one second pressure shoe which is guidable on the linear guide,
• (iii) wherein at least one positioning slide of the one or more positioning slides and at least one feed slide of the one or more feed slides are arranged such that by moving the at least one positioning slide and the at least one feed slide towards each other, a predetermined press force is applyable to the timber bundle,
• (c) wherein each of the one or more positioning slides is connected or connectable to a positioning drive for positioning the one or more positioning slides in a predeterminable position along the linear guide,
• (d) wherein the plurality of the clamping slides comprise at least one tensile force generator,
• (i) wherein the at least one tensile force generator is configured to automatically generate a tensile force that acts in each case between a positioning slide of the of the one or more positioning slides and a feed slide of the one or more feed slides, and
• (ii) wherein at least one tensile force generator is arranged below a contact surface of the timber bundle intake.
