Folding knife

A folding knife comprising:

• a blade including a blade portion on a first side end portion and a spine portion on a second side end portion;
• a grip portion to be gripped by a user;
• a connection portion connecting a base end portion of the blade to the grip portion in a rotatable manner;
• a housing section open at a side face portion of the grip portion and being configured to receive the blade portion when the blade is rotated and folded with respect to the grip portion;
• and
• a finger hook portion provided in the blade and disposed outside the housing section in a closed state, the finger hook portion being configured to, when the user applies an external force by hooking his/her finger on the finger hook portion to rotate the blade and release the closed state, generate an elastic force in a direction repelling the external force.
