Virtual prop control method and apparatus, device, medium, and program product

A computer device, comprising a processor and a memory, the memory having a computer program stored therein, and the computer program being loaded and executed by the processor to implement a virtual prop control method including:

• displaying a corresponding pickup manner selection area of a first virtual prop in a virtual scene, the pickup manner comprising at least one of an equipping manner of the first virtual prop and a deployment manner of a consumed prop element during pickup of the first virtual prop, and the consumed prop element being a virtual element consumable by the first virtual prop;
• and
• in response to a trigger operation on a first pickup manner in the pickup manner selection area, causing a first virtual character to pick up the first virtual prop based on the first pickup manner.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium, having a computer program stored therein, the computer program being loaded and executed by a processor of a computer to implement a virtual prop control method including:

• displaying a corresponding pickup manner selection area of a first virtual prop in a virtual scene, the pickup manner comprising at least one of an equipping manner of the first virtual prop and a deployment manner of a consumed prop element during pickup of the first virtual prop, and the consumed prop element being a virtual element consumable by the first virtual prop;
• and
• in response to a trigger operation on a first pickup manner in the pickup manner selection area, causing a first virtual character to pick up the first virtual prop based on the first pickup manner.
