The present disclosure provides a dissolvable microneedle patch for intradermal administration of at least one large molecule therapeutic to a subject. The dissolvable microneedle patch includes a substantially planar base layer and a plurality of dissolvable microneedles extending from the base layer. The microneedles include a matrix material including high molecular weight, non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid and methylcellulose. The microneedles include at least one large molecule therapeutic optionally encapsulated within a biodegradable polymer. The plurality of microneedles are configured to penetrate skin layers and dissolve following administration to release the therapeutic within intradermal tissue, enabling sustained therapeutic delivery without chemical modification of the therapeutic agent or retained implantable structures. The patch optionally includes an adhesive surface and at least one sensor configured to detect biological markers or hormone concentrations from bodily fluids.
A dissolvable microneedle patch for intradermal administration of a hormone to a subject, the microneedle patch comprising:
A method of manufacturing a dissolvable microneedle patch for intradermal administration of a hormone to a subject, the method comprising:
A method of delivering a hormone to a subject in need thereof, the method comprising:
