Abstract
A display device, a method for manufacturing the same, and an electronic device are provided. A display device includes: a substrate; a first pixel electrode and a second common electrode spaced from each other on the substrate; and a light emitting element on the first pixel electrode and the second common electrode, the light emitting element having a plurality of roughness patterns on a side surface, wherein the light emitting element is divided into a plurality of regions along a direction perpendicular to the substrate, and sizes of the plurality of roughness patterns in the plurality of regions are different from each other.
Claims20
A display device comprising:
- a substrate;
- a first pixel electrode and a second common electrode spaced from each other on the substrate;
- and
- a light emitting element on the first pixel electrode and the second common electrode, the light emitting element having a plurality of roughness patterns on a side surface,
- wherein the light emitting element is divided into a plurality of regions along a direction perpendicular to the substrate, and sizes of the plurality of roughness patterns in the plurality of regions are different from each other.
A method for manufacturing a display device comprising a light emitting element, the method comprising:
- forming a third semiconductor material layer, a second semiconductor material layer, an active material layer, a first semiconductor material layer, and a conductive material layer on a semiconductor substrate;
- etching the active material layer, the first semiconductor material layer, and the conductive material layer to form a first element rod having a first roughness pattern on a side surface;
- forming a protective film to protect the first element rod;
- forming a mask covering the first element rod and etching the second semiconductor material layer and the third semiconductor material layer to form a second element rod having a second roughness pattern;
- and
- forming a first contact electrode and a second contact electrode extending laterally from one surface of the first element rod, the first contact electrode and the second contact electrode being spaced from each other,
- wherein a size of the second roughness pattern is different from a size of the first roughness pattern.
An electronic device comprising:
- a display panel;
- a window arranged on the display panel;
- and
- a bottom cover arranged below the display panel,
- wherein the display panel comprises:
- a substrate;
- a first electrode and a second electrode spaced from each other on the substrate;
- and
- a light emitting element on the first electrode and the second electrode, the light emitting element having a plurality of roughness patterns on a side surface,
- wherein the light emitting element is divided into a plurality of regions along a direction perpendicular to the substrate, and sizes of the roughness patterns in the plurality of regions are different from each other.
