Abstract
The invention provides a voltage generator (1) for an X-ray imaging system (4), the voltage generator (1) comprising a trigger system (2) configured to, in response to receiving a start cycle trigger, trigger the voltage generator (1) to start transitioning to a first value of an output voltage of the voltage generator (1), and, in response to determining that the output voltage passes a predetermined threshold, trigger a start of a data acquisition of the detector (6) for a first integration period of a data acquisition cycle of the detector (6).
Claims14
A voltage generator for providing operating power for an X-ray source of an X-ray imaging system the voltage generator comprising a trigger system configured to:
- in response to receiving a start cycle trigger, trigger the voltage generator to start transitioning to a first value of an output voltage of the voltage generator;
- and
- in response to determining that the output voltage passes a predetermined threshold during the transitioning to the first value, trigger a start of a data acquisition of a detector of the X-ray imaging system for a first integration period of a data acquisition cycle of the detector.
(canceled)
A method for operating a voltage generator for providing operating power for an X-ray source of an X-ray imaging system, the method comprising:
- in response to receiving a start cycle trigger, trigger the voltage generator to start transitioning to a first value of an output voltage of the voltage generator;
- and
- in response to determining that the output voltage passes a predetermined threshold during the transitioning to the first value, triggering a start of a data acquisition of a detector of the X-ray imaging system for a first integration period of a data acquisition cycle of the detector,
- wherein determining that the output voltage passes the predetermined threshold is performed by making use of a voltage detection system detecting the output voltage and a comparator detecting that the output voltage passes the predetermined threshold.
