Abstract
Various embodiments of a computer-implemented system for universal secure messaging in a clinical setting including a messaging broker are disclosed.
Claims20
A computer-implemented system for universal secure messaging, comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
- access a communication from a first computing device executing a first messaging application;
- identify, by the processor, a second messaging application associated with a second computing device based on information associated with a destination user;
- identify a server supporting the second messaging application;
- access messaging data associated with the second messaging application from the server, the messaging data including at least one of a protocol, data format, or data field definition used by the second messaging application;
- transform the communication based on the messaging data to generate a translated communication compatible with the second messaging application;
- and
- transmit the translated communication for delivery to the second computing device via the second messaging application.
7 more elements
A computer-implemented system for facilitating communication between different messaging applications, comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory storing instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
- access a communication from a first computing device executing a first messaging application;
- interface, via a service, with the first messaging application and a second messaging application executed by a second computing device, the service being configured to integrate with a plurality of different messaging applications;
- determine, based on information associated with the communication, a destination messaging application corresponding to a destination user;
- and facilitate delivery of the communication from the first computing device to the second computing device by translating the communication for compatibility with the destination messaging application.
4 more elements
A method for facilitating communication between different messaging applications, comprising:
- accessing a communication associated with a first user device, the communication initiated from a first messaging application executed by the first user device;
- determining, based on information associated with the communication, a destination messaging application corresponding to a destination user;
- and
- translating the communication to generate a translated communication compatible with the destination messaging application for delivery to a second user device executing the destination messaging application.
