Abstract
An electrode for an electrochromic device, includes an oxide of lithium, tungsten and nickel wherein the atomic ratio of nickel to tungsten is between 0.9 and 1.1, the oxide crystallizing in the orthorhombic system, the lithium, tungsten and nickel oxide corresponding to the formulation LixNi2W2O9, with x between 0 and 2, limits included.

An electrode for an electrochromic device, comprising an oxide of tungsten, nickel and optionally lithium, wherein an atomic ratio of nickel and tungsten (Ni/W) is between 0.9 and 1.1, said oxide belonging to the orthorhombic crystalline system.
