Abstract

A magnetic sensor includes a first magnetic body and a second magnetic body spaced apart from each other in a first direction, a magnetoresistance effect element having a sensitivity axis parallel to the first direction and located between the first magnetic body and the second magnetic body in the first direction, first wiring lines located on a second direction side, the second direction being orthogonal to the first direction, of the first magnetic body, the first wiring lines being configured, when energized, to generate a magnetic field such that magnetic flux passing through the first magnetic body has a component in the first direction, and an insulating section located between the first wiring lines and the first magnetic body.
