Abstract

A connection member 80 connects a heat exchanger 1 and a pipe end PE of each of an inlet pipe 2 and an outlet pipe 3, and has an inlet side fixing portion 83A, an outlet side fixing portion 83B, and a body portion 81 integrally supporting these portions. The inlet side fixing portion 83A is capable of covering the outer peripheral surface of a connection portion 67A of a cap 60, which closes an end portion of a header tank 11, on an inlet side and the outer peripheral surface of the pipe end PE of the inlet pipe 2, and the outlet side fixing portion 83B is capable of covering the outer peripheral surface of a connection portion 67B of the cap 60 on an outlet side and the outer peripheral surface of the pipe end PE of the outlet pipe 3.

Dependent claims

A connection member for connecting a heat exchanger and pipe ends of an inlet pipe and an outlet pipe through which a heat medium passes inside the heat exchanger,

the heat exchanger including
a tank portion long in one direction, and
a cap covering one end of the tank portion in a longitudinal direction thereof and having an opening serving as an inlet and an outlet for the heat medium and a connection portion provided around the opening, comprising:
an inlet side fixing portion formed in a tubular shape and capable of covering an outer peripheral surface of each of the connection portion and the pipe ends on an inlet side;
and
an outlet side fixing portion formed in a tubular shape and capable of covering an outer peripheral surface of each of the connection portion and the pipe ends on an outlet side.
