Abstract
A cooking appliance includes a housing, an installation space inside the housing, a gas burner, an air intake opening provided in the housing, and an air intake system connecting the air intake opening to the gas burner. The air intake system has an auxiliary intake opening through which air can be drawn in from the installation space.

A cooking appliance comprising a housing, an installation space inside the housing, a gas burner, an air intake opening provided in the housing and adapted for admitting ambient air to the gas burner, and an air intake system connecting the air intake opening to the gas burner, the air intake system having an auxiliary intake opening adapted for through which air can be drawn in from the installation space for being admitted to the gas burner.
