Abstract

A gene expression method includes: providing a target gene-introducing plasmid where a target gene that is to be introduced into and to be expressed in a host cell and an endonuclease gene that specifically recognizes a specific sequence are placed to be expressible under control of one or more inducible promoters configured to induce simultaneous expression and where one or more specific sequences are introduced; transforming the host cell with the target gene-introducing plasmid; and culturing the host cell under an inducing condition of the inducible promoter, so as to cause expression of the target gene and the endonuclease gene and to cause an expressed endonuclease to cut the specific sequence and thereby remove the target gene-introducing plasmid.
