Abstract

A packaging cushioning member for supporting an article to be cushioned includes a plurality of three-dimensional laminated cardboard cushioning members, each formed by laminating a plurality of corrugated board sheets into a three-dimensional shape and having a surface with a compression characteristic. In the packaging cushioning member, the three-dimensional laminated cardboard cushioning members are arranged such that the article to be cushioned is supported by selected surfaces of the plurality of three-dimensional laminated cardboard cushioning members, each selected surface having a compression characteristic corresponding to a desired degree of cushioning strength for the article to be cushioned.
