A control device for controlling power conversion devices includes first and second arithmetic processing units connected via a transmission line. The first arithmetic processing unit includes a first calculator that determines a basic torque command value that is a torque command value common to motors arranged in a vehicle. The second arithmetic processing unit includes a second calculator that adjusts the basic torque command value based on a parameter and thereby determines, for each of the power conversion devices, a shaft torque command value that is a torque command value for one or more motors that are to receive electric power supplied from the power conversion device. The first arithmetic processing unit includes an abnormality determiner that determines, based on the basic torque command value and the shaft torque command values, presence or absence of abnormality in at least the transmission line or the second calculator.
A control device for controlling power conversion devices that are installable in a railroad vehicle and include switching elements, each of the power conversion devices being to convert electric power inputted thereto into electric power to be supplied to one or more motors and supply the electric power resulting from the conversion to the one or more motors, the control device comprising:
An abnormality determination method performed by a control device for controlling power conversion devices that are installable in a railroad vehicle and include switching elements, each of the power conversion devices being to convert electric power inputted thereto into electric power to be supplied to one or more motors and supply the electric power resulting from the conversion to the one or more motors, the control device including first arithmetic processing circuitry and second arithmetic processing circuitry that are connected to each other via a transmission line, the abnormality determination method comprising:
