Tank cleaner and nozzle device

A nozzle device for a tank cleaner for cleaning a tank, the nozzle device comprising:

• a nozzle insert having a discharge orifice for dispensing a cleaning fluid;
• and
• a flow guide part configured to guide the cleaning fluid from a housing part to the nozzle insert;
• wherein the nozzle insert and the flow guide part are at least partially releasably received in a securing member, the securing member being configured to secure the nozzle device to a housing part.

A method for adapting a spray performance of a tank cleaner, the method comprising the steps:

• disengaging a securing member from a housing part of a nozzle carrier;
• removing at least one of a first nozzle insert of a first nozzle device and the first nozzle device as a whole from a receiving space extending from a mounting recess into the housing part, the first nozzle insert being configured for dispensing a cleaning fluid into a tank;
• inserting at least one of a second nozzle insert of a second nozzle device and the second nozzle device as a whole into the receiving space, the second nozzle insert being configured for dispensing the cleaning fluid into the tank;
• detachably engaging the securing member with the housing part of the nozzle carrier;
• wherein the second nozzle insert has a discharge orifice with a second diameter being different from a first diameter of a discharge orifice of the first nozzle device.
