Abstract
Disclosed are compositions for methods of transporting of a vector, therapeutic, detectable, or combination thereof across a cell membrane of a cell. Also disclosed are methods of detecting and/or treating a tumor or cancer cell using a vector, therapeutic, detectable, or combination thereof either alone or in combination with applying alternating electric fields.
Claims16
A method of increasing virus copy number in a cancer cell comprising:
- applying an alternating electric field for a period of time to the cancer cell;
- and
- introducing a virus to the cancer cell.
A method of killing a cancer cell comprising:
- applying an alternating electric field for a period of time to the cancer cell;
- and
- administering a virus to the cancer cell, wherein the virus is capable of inducing cancer cell death.
A method of treating a subject having cancer comprising:
- applying an alternating electric field for a period of time to a target site of the subject;
- and
- administering a virus to the subject, wherein the virus is capable of inducing cancer cell death.
