Abstract

A buckle includes a plug and a socket where the plug is insertable. The plug includes: an attachment portion where an adherend is attachable; a pair of legs protruding from the attachment portion in an insertion direction relative to the socket and elastically engageable with the socket; and a switching portion supported by the attachment portion or the legs and disposed between the legs. The switching portion includes: an engagement portion switchable between engaged state where the engagement portion engages with the socket and disengaged state where engagement with the socket is released according to orientation of the switching portion relative to the socket; an operation portion that receives pressing force for changing the orientation of the switching portion relative to the socket; and an orientation-maintaining portion that abuts against the socket to maintain the orientation of the switching portion at least in the disengaged state of the engagement portion.

Dependent claims

A buckle comprising:

a plug;
and
a socket into which the plug is insertable, wherein
the plug comprises:
an attachment portion to which an adherend is attachable;
a pair of legs protruding from the attachment portion in an insertion direction with respect to the socket, the pair of legs elastically engageable with the socket;
and
a switching portion provided between the pair of legs and supported by the attachment portion or the pair of legs, and
the switching portion comprises:
an engagement portion whose state is switchable between an engaged state in which the engagement portion is engaged with the socket and a disengaged state in which the engagement portion is disengaged from the socket in accordance with an orientation of the switching portion relative to the socket;
an operation portion configured to receive a pressing force for changing the orientation of the switching portion relative to the socket;
and
an orientation-maintaining portion configured to abut against the socket to maintain the orientation of the switching portion at least when the engagement portion is in the disengaged state.
