Abstract

A medium conveying apparatus includes a scanner including a first imager, a media tray, an ejection tray, and a conveyor; and a copier located below the scanner. The conveyor of the scanner conveys a medium from the media tray and eject the medium onto the ejection tray without inverting the medium. The copier includes a second imager and an image forming device. The ejection tray of the scanner is movable between a first position at which a part of the ejection tray projects beyond a housing of the copier in a medium conveying direction and a second position at which the ejection tray is within a range of the housing of the copier in the medium conveying direction.
