Air-conditioning apparatus outdoor unit

An air-conditioning apparatus outdoor unit comprising:

• a casing constituting an outer shell;
• a separator configured to partition an interior portion of the casing into an air-sending device room in which an air-sending fan is provided and a machine room in which a compressor is provided;
• and
• an electrical component unit fixed to an upper part of the separator,
• wherein
• the electrical component unit includes
• a control board including a plurality of electrical components and a radiating component, the plurality of electrical components being placed on a mounting surface, the radiating component having a plate-shaped portion and a plurality of fins, the plate-shaped portion being attached to a subset of electrical components of the plurality of electrical components and covering the subset of electrical components, the plurality of fins extending from the plate-shaped portion in a direction away from the mounting surface,
• a control board supporting component made of resin attached to the control board and supporting a peripheral edge portion of the control board, and
• a radiating portion protecting component and a partition wall portion protecting component both made of metal, attached to the control board supporting component from a side of the mounting surface of the control board, and being covered by the control board supporting component,
• the control board supporting component includes
• a slit peripheral edge portion provided at a peripheral edge of a slit through which the plurality of fins are passed and covering the plate-shaped portion of the radiating component,
• a partition wall portion extending in a direction that is same as the direction in which the plurality of fins extend and partitioning the interior portion of the casing into the air-sending device room and the machine room together with the separator, and
• a side wall portion provided with a pair of first claw portions and a pair of second claw portions and surrounding the peripheral edge portion of the control board,
• the radiating portion protecting component includes
• a first protecting portion provided at a peripheral edge of a slit through which the plurality of fins are passed and covering one surface of the slit peripheral edge portion,
• a first side wall portion provided with a pair of first openings into which the pair of first claw portions are fitted, and
• a protruding portion provided at one end portion of the first protecting portion that is close to the partition wall portion and extending in a direction that is same as the direction in which the plurality of fins extend, and
• the partition wall portion protecting component includes
• a second protecting portion extending in a direction that is same as the direction in which the plurality of fins extend, covering one surface of the partition wall portion, and provided with a pair of insertion portions into which corner portions of the protruding portion of the radiating portion protecting component are inserted, and
• a second side wall portion provided with a pair of second openings into which the pair of second claw portions are fitted.
