Abstract
A biopolymer, which exists in a liquid phase at room temperature, a use thereof, and a preparation method therefor are provided.
Claims7
A method of adhering a first substrate to a second substrate, comprising:
- applying a biopolymer composition including a polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) biopolymer as an adhesive on a surface of the first substrate to form an adhesive surface, and
- applying a surface of the second substrate to the adhesive surface,
- wherein the PHA biopolymer is present in a liquid phase at room temperature,
- wherein the PHA biopolymer consists of 4-oxybutyrate and 2-oxybutyrate as repeating units, and
- wherein a molar ratio of each of the 4-oxybutyrate and the 2-oxybutyrate in the PHA biopolymer is 30% or more.
