A machining center for machining an elongated metallic workpiece, including a mounting device for mounting an elongated metallic workpiece to be machined, a first milling unit movable in at least one degree of freedom relative to a workpiece supported by the mounting device, and a second milling unit movable in at least one degree of freedom relative to a workpiece supported by the mounting device.
