Abstract
A method for fixating an artificial convex caput femur surface to the pelvic bone of a patient, the method comprising the steps of: cutting the skin and dissecting the region of the hip joint surgically removing a portion of the femoral bone, providing said artificial concave acetabulum surface, and fixating said artificial concave acetabulum surface to the femoral bone.

A method of fixating an artificial concave acetabulum surface to the femoral bone of a patient, the method comprising the steps of:
- a. cutting the skin and dissecting the region of the hip joint
- b. surgically removing a portion of the femoral bone,
- c. providing said artificial concave acetabulum surface, and
- d. fixating said artificial concave acetabulum surface to the femoral bone.
