The disclosure is directed to a system for blocking electromagnetic signals by using magnets to seal a container opening, effectively forming a Faraday cage around electronic devices. In some embodiments, the system comprises a pouch body, a shielding pocket, and a lock mechanism. The shielding pocket, positioned within the pouch body, is constructed from materials such as metalized fabrics and conductive threads, which attenuate electromagnetic signals. The pocket includes an opening for device insertion, which is secured by magnetic materials positioned on opposing sides, ensuring continuous electrical contact and preventing signal leakage. In some embodiments, the lock mechanism, featuring first and second lock bodies, further secures the opening, enhancing the electromagnetic shielding properties. Various example implementations of the system include configurations such as discrete magnets and/or strips of magnetic material configured to force and/or maintain the shielding material together to substantially prevent the electronic device from transmitting and/or receiving signals.
