Digital isolator architecture for hybrid capacitor and inductor

An apparatus for galvanically isolated electronic data communication, comprising:

• a plurality of isolation channels, each isolation channel comprising:
• a transmitter comprising a differential transmit driver;
• a receiver comprising a receiver inductor-capacitor (LC) tank;
• and
• a capacitive isolation barrier coupled between an output of the transmitter and an input of the receiver;
• and
• one or more oscillators configured to provide respective carrier signals to the transmitters of the plurality of isolation channels,
• wherein, in each isolation channel, the differential transmit driver is configured to transmit a carrier-based signal based on a carrier signal provided by the one or more oscillators, and the carrier-based signal has a frequency corresponding to a resonant frequency of the receiver LC tank of that isolation channel.
