The systems and methods may be configured to increase availability of functionalities associated with a system through controlling restarts of functionalities. In some embodiments, a restart of a first functionality may be identified, in which the first functionality is a first type of functionality. An impact of the restart on a second functionality may be determined, in which the second functionality is a second type of functionality. In some embodiments, the restart of the functionality may be controlled based at least on the impact of the restart, the first type of functionality, and the second type of functionality.
