Systems and methods for recording robot missions

A method comprising:

• identifying, by data processing hardware of a legged robot, stored data associated with an environment of the legged robot;
• receiving, by the data processing hardware, a first input requesting performance of a first action by the legged robot;
• based on receiving the first input, instructing, by the data processing hardware, the legged robot to perform the first action at a first location;
• updating, by the data processing hardware, the stored data associated with the environment to comprise data associated with performing the first action at the first location;
• receiving, by the data processing hardware, a second input, wherein the second input comprises an undo request;
• and
• based on receiving the second input, updating, by the data processing hardware, the stored data associated with the environment to remove or deactivate at least a portion of the data associated with performing the first action at the first location from the stored data associated with the environment.

A robot comprising:

• at least two legs;
• data processing hardware;
• and
• memory in communication with the data processing hardware and storing instructions, wherein execution of the instructions causes the data processing hardware to:
• identify stored data associated with an environment of the robot;
• receive a first input requesting performance of a first action by the robot;
• based on receiving the first input, instruct the robot to perform the first action at a first location;
• update the stored data associated with the environment to comprise data associated with performing the first action at the first location;
• receive a second input, wherein the second input comprises an undo request;
• and
• based on receiving the second input, update the stored data associated with the environment to remove or deactivate at least a portion of the data associated with performing the first action at the first location from the stored data associated with the environment.

A system comprising:

• data processing hardware;
• and
• memory in communication with the data processing hardware and storing instructions, wherein execution of the instructions causes the data processing hardware to:
• identify stored data associated with an environment of a legged robot;
• receive a first input requesting performance of a first action by the legged robot;
• based on receiving the first input, instruct the legged robot to perform the first action at a first location;
• update the stored data associated with the environment to comprise data associated with performing the first action at the first location;
• receive a second input, wherein the second input comprises an undo request;
• and
• based on receiving the second input, update the stored data associated with the environment to remove or deactivate at least a portion of the data associated with performing the first action at the first location from the stored data associated with the environment.
