Further, a sintered ore for hydrogen reduction and a method for producing the same. The sintered ore has a ratio PA/PB of 0.23 or more, PA representing a porosity (volume %) of particles that are 5 mm or more and are ground to an average particle size of 1 to 2 mm, and PB representing the porosity (volume %) of the particles determined using an apparent density measured by an in-liquid weighing method, and using a real density, measured by a boiling or vacuum suction method, of the particles that are ground and sieved into a particle size of less than 250 μm. The method includes using raw material including ore with a crystal water content of 4 mass % or greater. The sintered ore for hydrogen reduction has a porosity ratio PA/PB of 0.25 or more.
