Abstract
A device for handling construction material is provided, the device comprising a body portion and a holding portion connected with the body portion. The holding portion or a part thereof is laterally moveable relative to the body portion or a part thereof, to configure the holding portion between a gripping configuration and a releasing configuration. The holding portion or a part thereof is rotatable relative to the body portion or a part thereof. Related systems and methods are further provided.
Claims30
A device for handling industrial pipe, the device comprising a body portion and a holding portion connected with the body portion, the holding portion comprising at least three or at least six contact surfaces, wherein:
- the holding portion or a part thereof is laterally moveable relative to the body portion or a part thereof, to configure the holding portion between a gripping configuration for stably gripping industrial pipe using the at least three or at least six contact surfaces and a releasing configuration for releasing industrial pipe;
- and
- the holding portion or a part thereof is rotatable relative to the body portion or a part thereof for maneuvering of industrial pipe stably gripped by the holding portion.
