Abstract

An insulated box (10) includes: a plurality of vacuum insulated panels (30); and an insulated space (10a) surrounded by the plurality of vacuum insulated panels (30). Each of the vacuum insulated panels (30) includes: a first inner surface (30a) defining the insulated space (10a); a first outer surface (30b) that is a surface opposite to the first inner surface (30a) in a thickness direction orthogonal to the first inner surface (30a); and a first inclined surface (30c) that is inclined relative to the thickness direction such that an area of a section of the vacuum insulated panel (30) which is orthogonal to the thickness direction increases from the first inner surface (30a) toward the first outer surface (30b). The first inclined surfaces (30c) of the vacuum insulated panels (30) located adjacent to each other are opposed to each other.

Dependent claims

An insulated box comprising:

a plurality of vacuum insulated panels;
and
an insulated space surrounded by the plurality of vacuum insulated panels, wherein:
each of the vacuum insulated panels includes
a first inner surface defining the insulated space,
a first outer surface that is a surface opposite to the first inner surface in a thickness direction orthogonal to the first inner surface, and
a first inclined surface that is inclined relative to the thickness direction such that an area of a section of the vacuum insulated panel which is orthogonal to the thickness direction increases from the first inner surface toward the first outer surface;
and
the first inclined surfaces of the vacuum insulated panels located adjacent to each other are opposed to each other.
