Abstract
The present disclosure relates to an inhaler component for producing a steam/air mixture or/and condensation aerosol in an intermittent and inhalation- or pull-synchronous manner, the inhaler component including: a housing; a chamber arranged in the housing, an air inlet opening for the supply of air from the surroundings to the chamber; an electrical heating element for evaporating a portion of a liquid material; and a wick having a capillary structure, which wick forms a composite structure with the heating element and automatically supplies the heating element with fresh liquid material after evaporation.

An inhalator device comprising:
- a reusable part that includes:
- a battery;
- and
- a control circuit;
- and
- a disposable article that is coupleable to and detachable from the reusable part and that includes:
- a housing;
- a mouthpiece having an opening that is arranged at an end of the housing;
- a chamber arranged in the housing;
- an air admission opening for admission of air into the housing;
- one or more channels for flow of air between the air admission opening, the chamber, and the opening of the mouthpiece;
- a heating element configured to heat a liquid and form a vapor that mixes with the air in the chamber to form an aerosol;
- a wick that supplies the liquid to the heating element;
- and
- a plurality of electrical contacts that are in contact electrically with the heating element in the chamber to supply electric energy from the battery of the reusable part to the heating element and that are configured so that a portion of the plurality of electrical contacts are arranged at an end of the housing opposing the end of the housing including the mouthpiece for engaging corresponding electrical contacts of the reusable part.
