Abstract

A system and a method for phase alignment between multiple phase-locked loop (PLL) circuits is provided. The system includes a memory configured to store a plurality of lookup tables for a plurality of PLL circuits, where each of the plurality of lookup tables is predefined for a different operating temperature range or a different operating frequency range. The system determines an operating temperature or an operating channel frequency and searches a corresponding lookup table predefined for the determined operating temperature or the determined operating channel frequency. The system further determines phase difference information between a first output signal of a first PLL circuit and a second output signal of a second PLL circuit. The system searches, from the corresponding lookup table, control information based on the determined phase difference information and controls phase alignment between the first output signal and the second output signal based on the determined control information.

Dependent claims

A system, comprising:

a memory configured to store a plurality of lookup tables for a plurality of phase-locked loop (PLL) circuits, wherein each of the plurality of lookup tables is predefined for a different operating temperature range or a different operating frequency range;
and
at least one processor configured to:
determine an operating temperature or an operating channel frequency of the system;
search a corresponding lookup table of the plurality of lookup tables predefined for the determined operating temperature or the determined operating channel frequency;
determine phase difference information between a first output signal of a first PLL circuit of the plurality of PLL circuits and a second output signal of a second PLL circuit of the plurality of PLL circuits;
search, from the corresponding lookup table, control information based on the determined phase difference information;
and
control phase alignment between the first output signal and the second output signal based on the determined control information.

in a system including a plurality of phase-locked loop (PLL) circuits:
determining an operating temperature or an operating channel frequency of the system;
searching a corresponding lookup table of a plurality of lookup tables predefined for the determined operating temperature or the determined operating channel frequency, wherein each of the plurality of lookup tables is predefined for a different operating temperature range or a different operating frequency range;
determining phase difference information between a first output signal of a first PLL circuit of the plurality of PLL circuits and a second output signal of a second PLL circuit of the plurality of PLL circuits;
searching, from the corresponding lookup table, control information based on the determined phase difference information;
and
controlling phase alignment between the first output signal and the second output signal based on the determined control information.
