Spectacle lens, spectacle lens set, and spectacle lens design method

A spectacle lens design method comprising:

• designing an optical surface so that one of object-side and eyeball-side optical surfaces to have a plurality of segment regions that cause a light beam incident on an object-side surface to emit from an eyeball-side surface and converge on a position different from a retina of an eyeball of a spectacle wearer,
• wherein in the designing the optical surface, a spectacle lens is designed in such a manner that:
• the plurality of segment regions are arranged along a virtual curved surface corresponding to the optical surface that causes the light beam incident from the object-side surface to exit from the eyeball-side surface and converge on the retina of the eyeball of the spectacle wearer;
• the plurality of segment regions are configured to achieve a vision value equal to or lower than a predetermined vision limit value;
• and
• an area ratio of non-segment regions with respect to a combined region of the plurality of segment regions and the non-segment regions other than the segment regions is 0% or more and 25% or less.
