Abstract

A refrigerator capable of preventing or substantially preventing occurrence of surging is provided. A refrigerator runs a refrigeration cycle and includes: a compressor configured to compress a refrigerant; a condenser configured to condense the compressed refrigerant; an expansion valve configured to expand the condensed refrigerant; an evaporator configured to evaporate the expanded refrigerant; a suction pipe configured to connect the evaporator and the compressor; a motor configured to drive the compressor ; a first pipe configured to supply the refrigerant discharged from the condenser to a target part; a second pipe configured to supply the refrigerant having cooled down the target part to the suction pipe, the suction pipe serving as a first position; and a third pipe configured to supply the refrigerant having cooled down the target part to a second position. The second position is different from the first position and located inside the refrigerator.
