Abstract

The present invention provides a damping force adjusting device including: a control valve that is provided on a flow path through which a fluid flows and that varies the area of the flow path; a case member that houses the control valve and has a control seat in which is formed a through hole that can be closed by the control valve; a solenoid part that applies thrust to a pressing member that can come into contact with the side opposite to the side facing the control seat in the control valve; a coil spring having one end in contact with the control valve and the other end in contact with the pressing member; and a biasing member having one end in contact with the control valve and the other end fixed to the case member.
