Linear drain systems for tiled floors

A linear drain system for installation in a tile floor comprising:

• a drain body defining:
• an inlet having a slotted configuration and extending along a length of the drain body;
• an outlet portion in fluid communication with the inlet, the outlet portion configured for connection to a drain pipe;
• and
• an access opening in fluid communication with the outlet portion, wherein the access opening is longitudinally aligned with the outlet portion and laterally offset from the outlet portion and the inlet;
• a cover member covering the access opening and forming at least a portion of the inlet, wherein the cover member is configured to be tiled over;
• and
• a coupling system including:
• one or more receiving spaces formed in at least one longitudinal end of the drain body;
• and
• one or more joint components configured for attachment to the drain body via the one or more receiving spaces and form one or more watertight connections between the drain body and at least one of an extension member, a second drain body, and a wall panel.

A linear drain system for installation in a tile floor comprising:

• a drain body defining:
• an inlet having a slotted configuration and extending along a length of the drain body;
• an outlet portion in fluid communication with the inlet, the outlet portion configured for connection to a drain pipe;
• an access opening in fluid communication with the outlet portion, wherein the access opening is longitudinally aligned with the outlet portion and laterally offset from the outlet portion and the inlet;
• and
• a plurality of trim members having a plurality of projections;
• and
• a plurality of openings formed in the drain body and distributed along the inlet, wherein the plurality of openings are configured to selectively receive the plurality of projections to selectively position and secure the plurality of trim members along the inlet.
