Abstract
Spherical titanium dioxide composite nanoparticles, and a method for preparing same by using a sol-gel process are disclosed. The composite nanoparticles comprise a compound represented by Chemical Formula TixSi1-xO2, and are prepared by reacting, through a sol-gel process, a titanium dioxide precursor and a silica precursor, and thus maintain a spherical particle shape even during high-temperature heat treatment and have a high refractive index and uniform size distribution.
