Abstract
A metering system for an agricultural distribution machine, a device arrangement comprising at least one flow generator for generating a conveyor airflow flowing in the conveying direction and a metering airflow, a metering device which is configured to meter distribution material using a partial metering airflow generated from the metering airflow, and a distribution system via which distribution material can be conveyed from a storage container to the metering device.
Claims14
A metering system for an agricultural distribution machine, comprising:
- a device assembly comprising at least one flow generator for generating a conveyor airflow flowing in a conveying direction and a metering airflow;
- a metering device which is configured to meter distribution material using a partial metering airflow (DLTS) generated from the metering airflow;
- a distribution system via which distribution material can be conveyed from a storage container to the metering device using the conveyor airflow;
- and
- a backflow prevention device configured to, in the event of a reduced or absent conveyor airflow, prevent the introduction of distribution material located in the distribution system into the flow generator of the device assembly via one or more partial metering airflows flowing in a direction opposite to the conveying direction.
