Abstract
An article packaging apparatus includes an identification unit and a packaging unit. The identification unit identifies whether or not an article is a specific article unsuitable for being grabbed by a robot arm. When the article is the specific article, the packaging unit packages the article such that the specific article can be grabbed by the robot arm.
Claims15
An article packaging apparatus comprising:
- an identification unit that identifies whether or not an article is a specific article unsuitable for being grabbed by a robot arm;
- and
- a packaging unit that, when the article is the specific article, packages the article such that the specific article can be grabbed by the robot arm.
A packaging apparatus comprising:
- an identification unit that identifies whether or not at least one article stored in a box is a specific article unsuitable for being grabbed by a robot arm;
- and
- a packaging unit that, when the article is the specific article, takes out the article that is the specific article from the box and packages the article taken out from the box such that the specific article can be grabbed by the robot arm.
An article packaging apparatus comprising:
- an identification unit that identifies whether or not one predetermined article among a plurality of articles is a specific article unsuitable for being grabbed by a robot arm;
- a selection unit that, when the predetermined article is identified as the specific article, selects, out of the plurality of articles, an article that can be bundled with the specific article;
- and
- a packaging unit that collectively packages the specific article and the article that can be bundled such that the specific article can be grabbed by the robot arm.
