Abstract

A thermal management system for a vehicle having a refrigerant circuit and a coolant circuit, the refrigerant circuit including a heat exchanger and a condenser which are fluidly connected, wherein the coolant circuit includes a multi-port switching valve and a proportional valve assembly, wherein the heat exchanger and the condenser are each fluidly connected to the multi-port switching valve; a plurality of loads are arranged in the coolant circuit, wherein at least part of the plurality of loads are fluidly connected to the multi-port switching valve via the proportional valve assembly, wherein the multi-port switching valve has multiple ports, and any two of the multiple ports can be mutually connected inside the multi-port switching valve. A vehicle having the aforementioned thermal management system is capable of achieving robust thermal management.
