Tire with an improved tread pattern

A tire for a vehicle comprising a tread, the tread comprising:

• a set of consecutive blocks arranged along a circumference of the tire, wherein each block comprises a leading edge and a trailing edge;
• and
• a plurality of first grooves arranged over the circumference of the tire, wherein each of the plurality of first grooves is arranged between two blocks of the set of consecutive blocks;
• each of the set of consecutive blocks comprising:
• a first portion arranged at a central portion of the tire, and
• a second portion arranged in axial direction towards a shoulder of the tire with respect to the first portion;
• wherein the first portion and the second portion are formed continuously;
• wherein a first recess is formed between the first portion and the second portion, and wherein the first recess is arranged in at least one of the leading edge and the trailing edge of the block.
