Abstract
Combination therapies comprising administering PSMA-targeted radiopharmaceuticals and DNA damage response inhibitors.
Claims26
A method for treating a mammal having a cancer expressing Prostate Specific Membrane Antigen (PSMA), said method comprising:
- (i) administering to the mammal an 225Ac-radiopharmaceutical, wherein the mammal has received or is receiving a DNA damage response inhibitor (DDRi);
- (ii) administering to the mammal a DDRi, wherein the mammal has received or is receiving an 225Ac-radiopharmaceutical;
- or
- (iii) administering to the mammal a DDRi at the same time as administering to the mammal an 225Ac-radiopharmaceutical,
- wherein in each occurrence said 225Ac-radiopharmaceutical comprises 225Ac chelated with a compound of Formula I, or a stereoisomer thereof:
The method of any one of the preceding claims, wherein the mammal is a human.
The method of any one of the preceding claims, wherein said 225Ac-radiopharmaceutical is administered at a dosage of less than about 2 MBq/kg of body weight of said mammal.
The method of any one of the preceding claims, wherein said 225Ac-radiopharmaceutical is administered at a dosage of less than about 250 kBq/kg of body weight of said mammal.
The method of any one of the preceding claims, wherein said 225Ac-radiopharmaceutical is administered at a dosage of less than about 100 kBq/kg of body weight of said mammal.
The method of any one of the preceding claims, wherein said 225Ac-radiopharmaceutical is administered as a unitary dosage of less than about 15 MBq to said mammal.
The method of any one of the preceding claims, wherein said 225Ac-radiopharmaceutical is administered as a unitary dosage of less than about 10 MBq to said mammal.
The method of any one of the preceding claims, wherein said 225Ac-radiopharmaceutical is administered as a unitary dosage of less than about 5 MBq to said mammal.
The method of any one of the preceding claims, wherein the cancer is selected from the group consisting of prostate cancer, breast cancer, colorectal cancer, renal cell cancer, bladder cancer, testicular-embryonal cancer, neuroendocrine cancer, and brain cancer.
The method of any one of the preceding claims, wherein said administering results in a decrease in tumor volume, a stable tumor volume, or a reduced rate of increase in tumor volume.
