Abstract
An antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) that binds specifically to CD138 and exerts excellent anti-tumor effects. The antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) includes the anti-CD138 antibody with a particular amino acid sequence, which is bound to monomethyl auristatin E with a linker.

An antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) represented by Formula 1:
- wherein Ab represents an antibody selected from the group consisting of (1) to (3) below that binds specifically to CD138 and has a human IgG1 constant region:
- (1) an antibody comprising a heavy chain comprising a variable region consisting of the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:
- 14 and a light chain comprising a variable region consisting of the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:
- 16;
- (2) an antibody comprising a heavy chain comprising a variable region consisting of the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:
- 18 and a light chain comprising a variable region consisting of the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:
- 16;
- and
- (3) an antibody comprising a heavy chain comprising a variable region consisting of the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:
- 22 and a light chain comprising a variable region consisting of the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:

- L represents a linker;
- D represents monomethyl auristatin;
