A method for reducing spore-forming microorganisms in a food, comprising:
- adding an antibacterial composition comprising a green tea extract during the process of preparing the food.
A method for preparing retort soups or sauces, comprising the steps of:
- adding an antibacterial composition comprising a green tea extract to soups or sauces;
- and
- subjecting the soups or the sauces comprising the to retort processing.
