Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods, apparatuses, and devices for wireless communication. A first node may be configured to, capable of, or operable to receive input bits of a codeword or encode information bits corresponding to a transport block with a forward error correction code to generate the input bits. A quantity of the input bits is a multiple of a characteristic parameter of a neural network-based symbol generator. The first node may be configured to, capable of, or operable to generate symbols based on the input bits and the neural network-based symbol generator. A first symbol of the symbols is based on a first subset of the input bits, the first subset includes a first quantity of bits larger than the characteristic parameter of the neural network-based symbol generator. A second symbol of the symbols is based on a second subset of the input bits.
