Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive channel covariance information associated with a channel between a network node and the UE. The UE may transmit, to the network node, a channel state information report based at least in part on the channel covariance information. Numerous other aspects are described.

A user equipment (UE) for wireless communication, comprising:
- a transceiver, and
- a processing system that includes one or more processors and one or more code-storing memories coupled with the one or more processors, the processing system configured to:
- receive, via the transceiver, channel covariance information associated with a channel between a network node and the UE;
- and
- transmit, to the network node via the transceiver, a channel state information (CSI) report based at least in part on the channel covariance information.
A network node for wireless communication, comprising:
- a transceiver;
- and
- a processing system that includes one or more processors and one or more code-storing memories coupled with the one or more processors, the processing system configured to:
- transmit, to a user equipment (UE) via the transceiver, channel covariance information associated with a channel between the network node and the UE;
- and
- receive, from the UE via the transceiver, a channel state information (CSI) report based at least in part on the channel covariance information.
A method of wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE), comprising:
- receiving channel covariance information associated with a channel between a network node and the UE;
- and
- transmitting, to the network node, a channel state information (CSI) report based at least in part on the channel covariance information.
